Shipping Disclaimers

Live Plant Shipping

  • Minimal Soil: To ensure safe and cost-effective transit, plants are shipped with minimal soil. This is a standard practice for live plant shipping.

  • Expected Minor Damage: Minor soil displacement or slight damage to leaves (e.g., bending, yellowing, or small tears) may occur during shipping. These are normal and do not affect the plant’s health or long-term growth.

Order Processing Times

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days. During peak seasons, this timeframe may be extended.

  • Shipping Schedule: We avoid shipping plants late in the week to prevent them from sitting in transit over weekends.

Cold Weather Shipping

  • Heat Pack Option: During colder months, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order to protect your plant from freezing temperatures. Heat packs are available for an additional charge and can be selected at checkout.

  • Temperature Guidelines: If temperatures in your area are below 50°F (10°C), a heat pack is strongly encouraged.

  • Liability Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any damage caused by cold weather if a heat pack is not purchased.

Shipping Delays

  • Carrier Responsibility: Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery timelines are outside of our control. While we strive to meet estimated delivery dates, unexpected delays may occur.

  • Weather and Seasonal Impacts: Weather conditions or holiday shipping surges may occasionally affect delivery times. We appreciate your patience and understanding in these situations.

Unpacking Instructions

Upon Delivery:

  • Open your package immediately upon arrival. Live plants may experience stress during transit and should be unpacked, watered, and placed in appropriate lighting as soon as possible.

Acclimation Period:

  • Your plant may look slightly stressed upon arrival due to shipping. This is normal. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the plant to acclimate to its new environment.

Order Policies

Refunds and Replacements:

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy: If your plant arrives significantly damaged or dead, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Be prepared to provide clear photos of the plant and packaging to initiate a refund or replacement.

  • Exclusions: We do not offer refunds or replacements for damage caused by weather conditions if a heat pack was not purchased or for delays caused by the shipping carrier. Improper care after delivery is also excluded from our refund policy.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After this time, cancellations are not allowed as plants are prepared for shipping.

Special Notes

Plant Variations:

  • Each plant is unique, and slight variations in size, shape, and color are to be expected. Photos in the listing are representative of the plant you’ll receive.

Toxicity Warning:

  • Some plants may be toxic to pets or children if ingested. Please research the plant before purchasing if this is a concern.

Seasonal Availability:

  • Availability of specific plants may change based on seasonal factors. If your preferred plant is out of stock, please message us for restocking updates.

Heat Pack Policy:

  • Heat packs are recommended during the winter months and are not automatically included. If you do not purchase a heat pack, we cannot guarantee the plant will arrive undamaged in cold weather.
